Why do you photograph deserted places?
I do not exactly know, but I like
the thrill of the places and try to catch the sphere in photographs.
How do you find these places?
I look around. And keep my eyes and ears widely open.
There are many "popular" places of which you can find location and
details on internet. Many of them are very interesting, but I prefer to
find and visit "new" sites.
How long are you doing this?
Exploring and photographing always interested me and I
had other hobbies in that fields. In winter 2004 I stumbled upon some
websites about deserted places (see page: other sites).
That's when this started. In 2005 it took me great effort to build the
website (I had to learn all about html). Now it is ready I hope to
spend more time on visiting deserted places and little on adding the
selected photo's to the site. Let me know what you think about it
